Rita Kinch Obituary - 1955

The Community of Alma was saddened when on November 25th Miss Rita Kinch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kinch of that district, passed peacefully away in the presence of her immediate family, who cared for her devotedly during her lingering illness (cancer).
Rita was a kind and a devoted daughter, whose happy disposition won her many friends wherever she moved.
Rita will be sorely missed from her own community and in particular from Tignish where for many years she was a valued employee of the firm of Morris & Bernard.
To her sorrowing family goes the sympathy of her many friends and relatives.
Floral tributes:  A wreath from the family.  Wreath from C.N.R. Brotherhood – The Polio Clinic.  A Spray from Rennie’s Store Alma – A spray.  Many Mass Cards and messages of sympathy from friends and relatives both from Canada and United States bore silent tribute to Rita’s memory.
Funeral Mass was sung by Rev. Phelon McKenna, P.P., of Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, assisted by Rev. Dennis Gallant.
Pall bearers were:  Waldron Barbour, Harry Dunn, Robert McAssey, Jack Clark, Brendon Wallace.
Interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Alberton, Prince Edward Island.
